Bao Baby Bao - Auckland Central

The food is delicious, although the portions are on the smaller side. The chicken and pink dumplings are exceptional. I wasn’t particularly fond of the cocky bao, but I highly recommend the pig bell. I suggest ordering a drink as the meat dishes can be a bit heavy. Many people are also unaware that there’s an upper level to the restaurant.

The Philly cheese steak was well-prepared and truly satisfying, and the side salad was a lovely addition. My only drawback, which is mainly due to my inexperience since it was my first visit, was that I found the bao a bit unwieldy as I continued to eat. However, I believe this was more about my lack of familiarity than anything else.
