Taco Medic Quay Street - Auckland

All the food is 100% gluten-free! The portions are generous and the dishes are incredibly flavorful! Plus, the prices are great!

100% gluten free so it was stress free dining in that sense not having to worry about cross contamination! The entree corn chips were YUM and the tacos my friend got looked so good but my bowl was a little disappointing. The fish was marinated beautifully but the rest was just red cabbage and red onion really, I’m used to taco bowls having rice, black beans, etc in it. Everything else we had was yum though, and safe, so maybe just go for tacos if you’re wanting a more filling meal!

This isn't a comment on the food, but rather a word of caution: they won’t allow you to place an order within an hour of closing time unless you have a reservation. I arrived at 8 PM hoping to have a quick dinner before my long-haul flight (they close at 9 PM), but they wouldn’t let us order. I had previously visited their location in Queenstown, which was just a counter, so I didn’t think to make a reservation. Unfortunately, I ended up leaving without eating and headed to the airport hungry. If you're counting on this place for a gluten-free dinner, be sure to arrive early!
