Le Garde-manger Auckland

I had lunch at this restaurant yesterday and it was fantastic! The French cuisine was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was great. I enjoyed the French Onion soup, Beef Bourgignon with Potato Dauphinois, and Creme Brulee. This hidden gem is definitely worth the effort to get there.

I have dined at many restaurants in my life, but this one is truly one of the best. The atmosphere is warm and charming, the decor is authentic, and the food is absolutely delicious without any pretentiousness. There is no need for them to pretend - they are the real deal.

The chicken liver pâté was the standout of our meal and we will definitely be ordering two plates of it next time! The service was lovely and we are looking forward to visiting again soon. Overall, the meal was delicious from start to finish.

A French restaurant where you hear tables around you speaking in French. Cozy quaint decor, a very homey vibe. A classic French Bistro menu a great range of crepes. Love the escargots in garlic butter. The Cheese on the French Onion Soup has set, so was a bit hard chewy. The Crepe Calva was showy with the flambé. Overall the meal was very satisfying.
