Pizza Connection - Auburndale

Went here for lunch today I was kind of disappointed for the 2nd time… a couple months ago I was here I felt like I was waiting for ever to get my pizza after sitting down and after multiple prior experiences here I knew it shouldn’t have been taking long, so when I went to check to see if our food was ready I was advised it had been sitting on top of the oven waiting to be picked up, I was dining in, so the guy popped the pizza back in the oven to heat it up, okay no big deal mistakes happen. Today for lunch with friends we again were waiting a little bit, my friend went up to check and again was advised one of our friends pizza was waiting to be picked up so they brought it out and it was cold, then was advised mine another pizza was burnt and they had to remake them, but we’re not notified and waiting while on our lunch break. I’ve just had such good experiences here so I know it can be better.

I did a pick-up order so I can't comment on Atmosphere other than Pizza Connection is very clean. The pizza is by far the best I've ever had!

We were very excited to eat at Pizza Connection as we hadn’t been since pre-Covid. I remembered it was different…. Pizza slices were small squares and the crust was crispy… I think from the cornmeal on the bottom. Salads were also good… big, crispy and fresh with nice Italian dressing. Is was very good.This time. Well. Not so much.Salads was in a very small bowl with 2 grape tomatoes. Limp romaine. Creamy Italian dressing that tasted store bought. $5.00We ordered 12” pepperoni pizza… and there was a lot of pepperoni!. Over done on the outside; not done enough in the center. Sauce had the taste and texture of tomato paste. Cheese was good and plenty. $16.00I think it’s a good place for kids to enjoy the small squares!
