Burger King - Auburndale

When the first BK opened in Charlotte NC (too many years ago! I fell in love with the Whopper – they introduced it by putting free coupons all thru my apartment complex, and after trying one – (love at first bite for sure , I went around asking if others didn’t want their coupons, I did! . Over the years since then, I’ve encountered so many “less than good” whoppers across the country, that love has kind of weakened to allow for other burgers — Maybe it’s because it’s next to one of the busiest McD’s in the area, but I always feel sorry for this BK – it looks “lonely” – maybe I only pass it at “lonely” times but McD’s is always packed! It’s on the right going to Winter Haven, just after Hwy. 92 curves and becomes Havendale – it sits in the front of a shopping center as I said next to McD’s – the service was pretty quick – no one else in line.
