The Daily Egg - Auburn

We stopped by the car for breakfast this morning. The service was friendly and the food was better than expected. We thought it was typical diner food, but it was really good. I had the California Benny Egg Benedikt with tomatoes and avocado. I have the Hollandaise on the side because it is so hit or miss when you eat, but it was perfect! Whoever does the Hollandaise knows what he does. Eggs were also perfectly fried. My husband had cookies with sausage engraving and the engraving was delicious. Also decent prices, which is a must for a family of six.

This is my favorite restaurant, by far. Your menu is varied; each selection will give you a delicious meal. For lunch, try the Tuna Manhattan *heavenly* or the shrimp salad. Whatever you choose, you will not be disappointed! The atmosphere is welcoming, the waiting staff is welcoming. It's a must if you're in Auburn.

This is my new favorite breakfast place, in the central old town auburn. It is juicy, friendly and delicious! Their eggs and seasoned potatoes are great, along with their powered sugar pancakes! Great food, worth the visit!

Great and friendly waitress. Beautiful Belgian waffles with fresh berries! Land potatoes really delicious (usually seasoned). Love for viewing works of art on the walls (for sale). I like to see what artwork is new.

If your in the mood for a great breakfast or lunch , You must visit The Daily Egg!! everything you would want in a great meal is on the menu there. I love their HOME MADE soups!! The service is wonderful. :
