Bidrage med feedbackWe had fois gras this is Perigord after all. It was delicious. The special was 1/2 lobster, which was very nice. Afterwards we had desert, with local strawberries and blueberries. Both were excellent. The aperitif and wine were both very good. The highlight; however was the friendly and attentive service.
Lovely village restaurant serving good local fare. We had the beef casserole for two with a carafe of delicious local wine. Service friendly and good English.
This was our first visit to Auberterre since moving to France and therefore our first visit to the restaurant which had been recommended to us. It is a very traditional menu but the quality of the produce and preparation was excellent. My wife chose the speciality Pork Knuckle and was very grateful to the lady serving us for suggesting a starter was not needed. Indeed it wasnt as the knuckle was huge but very tasty. I had the Tournedos Rossini which was also quite large but beautifully tender. I just about managed a desert which was an delicious homemade fruitcake. We will return later this year
Warm and warm welcome, dishes on which we hesitate because all call us! a refined, refined and delicious cuisine, all in a family atmosphere and cherry on the cake, the boss is motorcycle, in short, everything for (we) please!
