H H Bakery - Au Gres

The food was great and the Boston cream puffs from the bakery rocked!

That breakfast buffet has no business being as good as it is. It is a great way to try a good amount of what they offer for breakfast. It's kept at perfect temps and a clean setting. It tasted fresh and satisfying. Staff is great, and the environment is family style, accomidating a good amount of guests. If you haven't been here, you sure have been missing out.

If you want sticky tables, cracks in the table so water is dripping from your cup onto your foot...if you want to wait 50mins for french toast and eggs, this place is for you!! ?(there were two other tables and they had their food). Let's talk about cleanliness or lack there of here...There was a staff member from the kitchen who was sitting at a table eating and clothes looked dirty, he went outside to smoke about 3 times and then went to the kitchen. Made my stomach turn, to think he was possibly the one cooking the food. It would make sense why we waited 50mims for food...because the cook was eating and smoking? Not sure. Our waiters shirt was extremely dirty as well and the floors were very dirty. I saw the staff wipe a table with a dirty looking rag, then took the same one and wiped down the salad bar!! ? So the customer's germs and crumbs from the table are now all over the salad bar. GROSS!! Staff... the kid was nice but clearly inexperienced and waits were ridiculous since there were just a few tables and 2 waiters. The issue was, they stood in the kitchen talking and looking through the windows instead of taking care of the customers. Now, the food...Eggs were watery, and the cheese wasn't even cooked In the eggs. French toast was the best thing we found but had to wait 15+ for our waiter to bring us syrup and butter? Those pretzel bites... I should call Gordon Ramsay on you all!!? WHY would you think microwaved pretzels bites with hard melted cheese and RAW huge onions should be on the menu? that was HORRIBLE!!!! Only good thing I'd say is they had a great Bavarian puff pasty and the young lady at the front checking people out was very friendly. I personally wouldn't recommend.

We went for their Wednesday pizza pasta bar. While we were there wasn't any pizza, while we waited for pizza we went for spaghetti there was none. So we went for salad had to ask for lettuce. Who runs an all you can eat place and doesn't put food out? When the pizza was brought out it was partially cooked. Our family left disappointed and hungry. The waitresses were oblivious to any issues while they stood in the kitchen watching people through the windows.

Quaint little small town restaurant. Loved their pasty.
