The best part of my meal was the pickle that came with my beef on weck. The beef was very dry meat was tough. The French fries were nothing more than standard crinkle cut fries, which I hate. The chili I had before my meal was decent but nothing to write home about. My wife and daughters' meals were also equally disappointing.
Fish fries are the best. Amanda is a sweetheart. Great place for dinner.
Focus on local offerings. The menu is quite limited, so it's important to listen and understand what the locals desire. Consider adding live entertainment to enhance the atmosphere—trivia nights and darts could be great draws. Also, if you’re offering a prime rib dinner special on Saturdays, customers shouldn’t have to place their orders two days in advance, especially just to find out that if there aren’t enough orders, the meat won’t be available. This is frustrating! While the service is generally good, it's not ideal for the bartender to also serve as a waitress in the dining area. The drinks are slow to arrive, and the food is just average.
I highly recommend the prime rib dinner; you won't regret it! Just be sure to make a reservation in advance for this particular menu. It's cooked to perfection, just the way you like it. The chef does an outstanding job, and the bartenders are very professional and will take care of all your drink needs.
