Taste Of The Shore - Atlantic City

Absolutely the worst dining experience on all levels. This restaurant went so downhill from being bought from Mastroianos. Food service was 100 timesbetter. Used to be classy atmosphere with top service. Now you get served by a bunch of kids. And the food quality has completely gone downhill. Pasta was mushy, not Al dente, food just not good. I am italian and it's safe to say I will not be returning

Very important to make reservations. People were being turned away. Food is excellent. Staff is very nice. They did not look to rush us out. You can reserve on line and that is what we did. La Strada is located on the second floor in Harrah's.

First trip here since Martoranos. I miss those Eggplant Stacks! Ordered the scallops and risotto. For nearly $60, I expected more than 4 scallops. Risotto was cooked perfectly, but overall I would not get it again due to being overpriced (even for a casino). However, I will give it one more try. Waiter and service was great, but I did wait over 30+ mins for my meal.

My waiter Jose was great and this review in no way represents the great service I received. My issue was with the kitchen and the quality of the entree. I had the Caesar salad which was very good. The warm polenta croutons were a nice touch. I had ordered the Veal Parmesan. While the salad was delivered rather quickly the entree took almost an hour to be delivered to the table. Jose informed me several times it was coming but there is only so much he can do. When the entree finally arrived it was cold and despite being served with a steak knife it was difficult to cut. It seemed like a veal patty you could get at a diner. I returned the dish. The manager came to the table and was very nice about the situation and offered to replace my dinner. At that point I just wanted the check and to get on with my night. The manager comped the meal which was greatly appreciated but to be honest I would not go to this restaurant again. I had been looking forward to eating there. Over all it was a disappointing experience. Thank you to Jose for trying his best.

We reserved a table for 2 and were sat very near our reservation time. We ordered within a reasonable time but then waited 30+ minutes for bread and drinks. It was another 45 minutes until we were served our meal. I got the Veal Parmesan, the Veal was fine but the noodles were ice cold. Almost like they were intentionally made to be served cold. My spouse ordered the lobster ravioli and shrimp and it was just not very good. This was our first visit since it replaced Martoranos...we will not return.
