Bongiorno's Philly Steak Shop

Bongiornos was my number one to get a phillie. Great rolls and cheese. A real cheese steak. But the last time I got the delivery, my cheese steaks and cheeseries were a healthy mess. I'll give them another one soon.

Best philly period. My wife didnt even eat phillies b4 i took her here, they are spot on and the owner is very nice, i do not eat a philly unless it is here the honest truth. lol i wont order one anywhere else period!

All the sandwiches are good. Made the mistake of going to a competitor because this place had closed for the night, and it made me appreciate this place even more. They may be in business for cheesesteaks but their other sandwiches I think are better. The chicken philly I like better than the regular, seasoned marinated and grilled flavorful its great, also the Italian hoagie and other sandwiches are superior to most any other place too. As for cheesesteaks I like my homemade ones the best, but its a lot of work just to make a sandwich and its easier to buy one here.

If you are from Philly you have to go to Bongiorno's!!! Authentic cheesesteaks. Owner Deanna will treat you like family and she and her staff always remember what regulars like. Before we moved to Atlantic Beach we drove 20 miles to get here every week or so.

Mmmm mmmm GOOD!!. Short and sweet.. I was born and raised in North Philly, moved here in 2009. There are only two places to get an authentic Philly Cheese Steak and Bongiorno's is one of them. This is as close to home as you can get outside of Philly. Glad I live around the corner :
