V J Afro-caribbean And American Food

Restaurant was recommended by the hotel across the street and it didn't disappoint. Friendly service, outstanding food, and a reasonable price for the serving size. I had the large j chicken dinner with a ginger beer. Was blown away by the flavor of the chicken and also the rice. Will be back when I travel into town again!!

First things first I am Jamaican born and raised and know good food. The food here was Really Good food. Had Small J Chicken with Rice and peas. I will for sure be back.

Not everyone knows how to do cassava leaves and rice correctly but maaaaaaaannnnn. They did me well

Heard this place had decent food so during a break we ran up the road to grab some take out. I wanted the stewed chicken, jollof rice and cabbage. They didn't have the stewed chicken. I ended up getting the fried shrimp. My husband got the fried tilapia, cabbage and jollof rice, our friend got the curry chicken, cabbage and rice and peas. They said their food was good so I gave two stars. I personally don't need to go back. The shrimp were tiny, I didn't get any cabbage nor did I get any cutlery. The food tasted ok but I can't see myself having a craving for it.
