The original hot dog factory is a restaurant chain that specializes in hot dogs and sausages. It was founded in 1987 in Atlanta, Georgia, by Dennis McKinley, who started the business with just $2,000. The restaurant chain has since expanded to multiple locations in several states across the United States. The food was delicious and they have a variety of types of hotdog meat (beef, turkey, beyond). They have wings and burgers as well but I did not try them. If you are close to one of their locations, stop in and get a Chicago dog!!!!Parking: I suggest parking on the street and paying through the ParkMobile app. It is half the price of the parking lot.

Love the creative hot dog varieties! Wasn't crowded but a couple of the tables weren't clean. However the server came right over and cleaned one for us.Food: 5/5

Located on Piedmont Avenue in Atlanta, one block north of Auburn Avenue is Hot Dog Factory. Delicious handcrafted gourmet hot dogs made to order. I visited during the Sweet Auburn Spring Fest 2023. Great service, secure clean seating you will make this downtown location a weekly stop.Food: 5/5

My daughter and I went in for a quick dinner. Chad is the best, with his dry since of humor made the experience even better! He has a heart of gold and great customer service skills! I ordered Carolina Dog (great as is) and my daughter ordered The Augusta Dog but she substituted so much it was a new menu item that won't make it to the menu?The Golden Fried Oreos and Mystery Drink are must haves!If we're back in Atlanta we will definitely stop by again.
