Bidrage med feedbackWhen you hear the name Shake Shack, you expect to find some of the best milkshakes Atlanta has to offer, but that's not the case here. The limited selection of only three milkshake choices was a big disappointment. Upon entering, you order your food using tablets at the front, grab a plastic tent card with your table number, and then find a seat. I ordered the Chicken Shack and fries, which were just average, and I had to pay for them separately. The drink, a half-and-half blend that tasted like lemon water to me, was also priced separately. My child ordered chicken fingers and praised how crispy and tasty they were. She rated the triple chocolate milkshake a 7/10, saying it was just okay. In total, our meal cost $35, which I felt was excessive—I could have gone to Chick-fil-A and spent only $20 for similar items.
I don't quite get the hype surrounding this place. The burger was decent for a fast food joint, but considering the price, it doesn't feel like fast food. The fries were fine, but nothing special. I'd definitely choose In-N-Out over Shake Shack any day.
Before entering, I was greeted by a sign announcing some new shake flavors, particularly the Oreo Funnel Cake flavor, which caught my eye. Once inside, we placed our orders on a kiosk, which I’ve come to prefer at some places for its speed and convenience. I ordered the Bourbon Bacon Jam Burger ($9.39), fries ($3.99), lemonade ($3.69), and, of course, the Oreo Funnel Cake Shake ($6.69). My companion opted for the Smoke Shack Burger ($8.49), fries ($3.99), and a root beer float ($5.99). After trying the Bourbon Bacon Jam Burger, I can confidently say it was a flavorful experience that left me craving more. This 100% Angus beef burger was juicy and savory, topped with crispy onions and Shake Shack's signature ShackSauce. The addition of the bourbon bacon jam, made with Maker's Mark Bourbon, took the flavor to the next level. Each bite revealed a delightful harmony of flavors, with the sweetness of the jam complementing the savory beef beautifully, and the crispy onions adding a satisfying crunch. Clearly, Shake Shack takes pride in using high-quality ingredients to create burgers that truly stand out. The fries were equally impressive—hot, crispy, and perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of salt—making them the ideal partner to the delicious burger and leaving my taste buds thoroughly satisfied. Now, about the dessert: While the Oreo Funnel Cake Shake intrigued me with its potential blend of two favorites, I must admit I was a bit disappointed. The Oreo flavor was somewhat muted, and the funnel cake essence was hard to detect. Perhaps my expectations were too high, as the combination didn’t quite meet my hopes, and I managed to finish only about half of it. Nonetheless, I appreciate Shake Shack’s creativity in trying out unique dessert offerings. To cleanse my palate after the meal, I chose their lemonade, which turned out to be a great decision. It was perfectly balanced, providing a sweet but not overly sugary taste that complemented the savory notes of the burger and fries. It offered a refreshing conclusion to the meal, leaving me satisfied. In conclusion, Shake Shack’s Bourbon Bacon Jam Burger is a winner, delivering an explosion of delightful flavors in every bite. Their commitment to quality ingredients and craftsmanship is apparent, making this burger a must-try for any burger lover. While the Oreo Funnel Cake Shake didn’t quite meet my expectations, the overall experience more than compensated for it. I’m already looking forward to returning to Shake Shack to try more of their sandwiches and shakes. If you're searching for a delicious burger experience, Shake Shack is the place to go!
The burger was good and the fries a little overcooked for my taste! The staff was very pleasant. On the other hand there was no atmosphere, just the noise of the kitchen that served as a soundtrack. The restaurant is large and had an outdoor terrace so it is a very appreciable point!
By the time we paid $7 for parking (4 burgers, fries, shakes, root beer float) we spent about $100. No order takers, only kiosks. The energy level that I was accustomed to from a Shake Shack...GONE. 3 4 people in the kitchen area didn't greet us, they talked amongst themselves. Although, they did provide a parting remark have a great 4th of July (that's the only reason I gave Service a star). While we all liked our burgers, the fries were not hot enough, they may have been a bit old. Sorry to say, we will not return.
