Great service, our server was very attentive and thorough.
My date and I went to Ruth's Chris (Buckhead) last night for the second time in 2 weeks and were sadly disappointed by the lack of attention given towards our dining experience. I ordered the Gumbo as a part of my meal during my last visit and craved it again so much that I called ahead before our arrival to make sure that it was still the Soup du Jour (Soup of The Day). The front hostess confirmed that the restaurant was still serving the Gumbo, so we arrived for dinner less than 30 minutes later. Upon our arrival, our server reluctantly informed me that the Soup du Jour was Lobster Bisque not Gumbo, as the front hostess had stated just 30 minutes prior via phone. This was highly upsetting as I had called ahead to confirm the menu item's availability to avoid this situation. We still ended up dining as we had other plans for the evening and didn't have time to go elsewhere. If you're a hostess at Ruth's Chris in Buckhead PLEASE ASK THE KITCHEN BEFORE TELLING PATRONS INCORRECT INFORMATION. Some people do actually call ahead and ask questions for a reason...
I enjoyed my dinner for my boyfriends’s birthday. Food was good and our server Stephanie was the best.
For my 10-year wedding anniversary, my husband and I chose Ruth Chris Steakhouse for dinner. I made a reservation for 5:30 p.m. EST. We arrived around 5 p.m. but it took almost 20 minutes to be assisted by the valet. I was asked if I was a hotel guest, I replied I have reservations at Ruth Chris. After providing my full name and key, I turned off the car and gathered my things to go inside. Upon leaving which was a wonderful anniversary dinner, we return to the valet and provide our ticket to retrieve our car. I was asked if I called ahead and I replied no I am not a hotel guest. I was than given a lecture on how I don’t have to be a hotel guest to call ahead. I simply replied can I just have my car and to my surprise, the key was lost. I asked how could my key be lost and the manager replied, “It’s not lost, it’s here somewhere”. I told the manager the exact definition of lost is when an item cannot be found. After waiting for almost an hour with my 9-month-old son and husband I go sit down. As valet staff walk by I asked if my key has been found, some ignore me and others just say no. I get back up and go physically stand at the valet desk I state for everyone to stop whatever else they were doing and find my key. The manager than states, he will put us in an Uber home. I told him I have a 9-month-old son and his car seat is installed in my car and that’s not possible, he needs to find my key. After another half hour of me screaming at this point, I am told a claim will be filed. My husband stated he would just take the Uber home to get the spare key and return so we can take our son home. At this point, the manager changes his story and says the Uber cannot be paid for up front, we would have to incur the charges and submit it with the claim. We spent our entire anniversary night fighting to get our key back to our vehicle. By the time my husband went home, returned with the key, and us all making back home, it was after midnight.
