Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Atlanta

During a recent visit after my appointment, I experienced an issue at the cashier's counter. They mistakenly charged my card for another customer's order and proceeded to complete the transaction without taking my payment, which led to the need for help from the supervisor on duty. The supervisor appeared noticeably frustrated with the cashier, which created an unpleasant environment. While I recognize that mistakes happen, I was taken aback by the supervisor's over-the-top huffing, puffing, and eye-rolling. As a customer, it's natural to feel frustrated, but the supervisor seemed even more upset than I was. Unfortunately, I did not receive an apology or any sort of compensation for the inconvenience, which was disappointing. The food was decent, but I was let down to find out that the lemonades I ordered were only available chilled rather than frozen, and the strawberry biscuits were stale and burnt.

I ordered a 3-piece chicken tender from the drive-thru, and when I got home, this is what I found. There was no crispiness, no batter, and no breading at all. I'm very disappointed.

The food is usually pretty good, but that's where the positives end. I order the same thing every time and somehow end up paying five different prices depending on how they ring it up. I've even waited 30 minutes for my order before. They weren’t even clever enough to set my tenders aside while waiting for more chicken to cook. And when the chicken was finally ready, they told me they needed to cook more tenders. It's just unbelievable!

Very ghetto. “I’m outside making calls so we’re closed for 30 minutes. I’m the only one here” said an employee outside as he’s outside smoking a cigarette with his earpiece and uniform on. I just wanted a lemonade and this Popeyes is always doing whatever they want closing anytime and always out of CHICKEN! Terrible management.. I could manage it much better.

Honestly it’s sad that I expect to sit in the drive thru for over 35 minutes just because I want Popeyes. The staff is friendly, turnover rate is high but the food is always hot. Luckily your across the street from a gas station if you run low or out of gas waiting in the drive thru line.
