Mirage Persian Cuisine - Atlanta

The service was great, we had a large group (not everyone was a Foodie). The waiter made a suggestion for appetizers because members of our party we late. They were very patient and refilled our beverages before our glasses were empty. When we were ready to order, they were very patient in describing all ingredients in each dish. Everyone's meal was ready at the same time, no one had to wait for their food while others were eating. Upon completion of the meal, they slit the checks up ease (sometimes waiters act as if this request is a huge undertaking) this was not the case at Mirage. I would recommend this restaurant to friends and family, furthermore I will be back.

For appetizers,we had Kashk-O-Bademjan and Hommus. Both delicious. For entrees,we had Lamb Kabob rice plate and my friend had the Lamb Kabob wrap (soft pita bread).We loved our choices. Our entrees came with a Persian-style tomato soup.Our server was nice and friendly. I would recommend this restaurant.

Just ok food wise. Ok service. Nothing that really stood out as exceptional.

We've dined at Mirage in the past and have always been satisfied; good, solid food and service. On this visit the food was consistently good but service not so good. The restaurant was not busy and even though the waiter could see we were a group of friends catching up he hurried us to order even after we'd already ordered appetizers for the table. Waiter came to our table about 5 times within a 10 minute period to take order and even though we were not ready to order he was visibly perturbed. Once we did order food served in a reasonable amount of time but there was no follow up; we never had water refill, ordered tea at end of meal from another waiter took 20 minutes to arrive. If restaurant had been mobbed I could understand but it was not.

This family owned restaurant offers the typical menu, but prepared better than most. I ordered the chicken kabob. In other restaurants, the chicken is on the dry side. At Mirage, it was moist and flavorful. The choices of rice are also delicious. My friend had the ground steak kabob which he really enjoyed. We've dined there a number of times and always have to take half home because the portions are so large. I highly recommend Mirage.
