Fontaine's Oyster House - Atlanta

Must give this place 5 stars. Great staff, great food, great menu. We came to 12P a weekend directly when they opened, and we are treated with immediate service and fresh food. The Rohausters were very good and high quality, like the roasted grouper. Hush puppies were some of the best I had, felt like we were near the ocean!

This is a great place for a nice lunch, whether early or late. We ordered a number of different oysters that were all delicious. Our favorite was the Nola oysters we ordered again after the first batch. The lobster roll was fresh and the bungalow was perfectly roasted. My shrimps and grits were rich in taste. It was also very creamy. The prices are right and food comes fast and hot. The staff was also very friendly. Great atmosphere for drinks. A walk through the busy neighborhood road will help you to work the calories so be sure to pamper and have a nice meal. Come back here when I'm in town.

Big oysters, raw or baked. Mussels with red saw was excellent. Calamari was good, two sauces were great. Crawfish Sandwich was very good. Shrimp was on the creamy side, beautiful touch with the spinach. Baked oysters were on the thick crush side, excellent option with the Caesar salad. Lobster was plentiful, but I would have roasted this one lobster meat with rolls? Shrimp etouffeee was a little salty with the sausage sauce. Lobster Bisque was good, a bit on the sweet side. Cracked place, but fast friendly service. We'll be back. Get the oysters!
