First Watch - Atlanta

We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at a restaurant in DUNWOODY. The service was excellent and the menu had a variety of options to choose from. The pancakes were particularly delicious.

This was our first dining experience at this restaurant. We found the food to be only average. The French toast was nothing special, and the baguette was not served in sufficient quantity with the frittata, so we had to order extra. Additionally, the salsa was not served with the omelet. The server was friendly, but they need to improve their food service.

This restaurant is part of a local chain and is quite popular. It appears that they have either built a new location or moved to one just a few miles down the street. The food was delicious and seemed fresh. We both enjoyed a pineapple spritzer cocktail (non-alcoholic) that was very refreshing. My friend ordered The Tri-Fecta, which consisted of a Belgian waffle, bacon, and chicken sausage. I opted for the three breakfast street tacos with chorizo, minus the avocado and pico. The flavors were just right, with a touch of spice but not too hot. Our server was friendly and attentive, especially when I mentioned my avocado allergy. They made sure to inform the cooks to change gloves when preparing my meal, which was greatly appreciated. However, I have two minor complaints. Firstly, my friend's Tri-Fecta did not all come out at once. The bacon and sausage arrived first, followed by the waffle five minutes later. Secondly, all the water glasses had scratches and food residue on them, so we ended up using the coffee cups instead.

Good food, good service. Come out early for a place. Can recommend the BLT Benedict and the Chorizo Sunrise Sandwich.

(Seeing how responsive is the ownership and how mixed the reviews here, I'm going to comment and not just give four stars. I have visited this location six times over the past several months. I've never had bad service. At least two of the wait staff have been there the whole time and both of them as well as the other who served me today are very pleasant and attentive. The menu is varied and the food is good. The place is large and airy, well laid out. I have enjoyed my every visit and have no complaints. But I cannot award five stars because there is something lacking as to how it all comes together, or doesn't quite. I suppose it depends on the kitchen, the cooks. In any case, I will visit here again.
