Bidrage med feedbackVery small restaurant and seafood shop. Very limited seating. Counter service looks like mostly to go orders. Everything is fresh and cooked to order. You have to wait a bit. The hey cook it to order so call ahead if you don't want to wait. Definitely not cheap, but fresh seafood will cost you and this is fresh. Shrimp was good. I will come back and try something else.
The food is delicious and fresh. Repeat customer. It is definitely in the top echelon of ATL restaurants for food quality.
We haven't been to the Crawfish Shack in a while and generally we order out. When my husband got home with our food, he said the size of the restaurant had shrunk. He also said the owner said business was a bit slow. It made me sad because it is our go to for spicy crawfish. The crawfish is fresh and super spicy (plumps your lips! , the soft shell crabs are lightly dusted and fried with a delicious spice and are served with a spicy (think plumped lips! remoulade sauce. We generally get corn and potatoes that are cooked in the same spices as the crawfish. Occasionally we get the coleslaw which is a bit sweeter than I generally like, but is a good foil for the spicy food.
This was our first time coming to this restaurant and we thought it was just okay. It's very small restaurant and the food was average. The floors were also super sticky so it made me feel uncomfortable but the tables were clean. There's both inside and outdoor seating but inside was just larger tables. A lot of people ordered for takeout.
This is one of the worst Poboys that I have ever had in my life. I had the crawfish, Poboy, and all you had was breading. You could see absolutely no meat with every bite. I don't normally review, but this was just that bad Experience. I paid $22 for half of a crawfish sandwich and fries. Ridiculous.
