Atlanta Fish Market

The drinks were delightful, but the food was truly outstanding! The fish was perfectly seasoned and tender, with beautiful presentation, a sublime sauce, and wonderfully flavorful garnishes. They also have a gluten-free menu! The ambiance was great, making it easy for us to carry on conversations during our work dinner. Additionally, the service was wonderful and very attentive!

Just a heads up, when you arrive at the restaurant, you'll see the valet station welcoming you. They do offer self-parking, but I'm not exactly sure how to access it since I've always used the valet service during my visits. Now, onto the review: **SERVICE:** We were greeted and seated right away. Although our server seemed busy, he did his best to attend to us. The teamwork among the staff was evident; another employee brought us complimentary bread and butter, while a different staff member kept our water glasses filled. Our waiter demonstrated good knowledge of the menu and confidently advised us on what dishes to skip. **FOOD:** It had been at least three or four years since my last visit, but I remembered the calamari being good. I didn’t see it listed on the menu, but to my surprise, the waiter informed us that it was indeed available! It certainly lived up to my memories. They also have special menu items; we were informed about a branzino dish not featured on the regular menu. Additionally, the staff mentioned a watermelon cocktail that, you guessed it, isn’t on the menu either! So the takeaway is to ask for what you want—you might just find it! I ordered the pecan-crusted salmon served with broccoli and whipped sweet potatoes, and it was absolutely delicious! I savored every bite of the meal. Overall, this is a fantastic place to visit!

**Food:** The selection is fresh and impressive, featuring everything from sushi and tuna to whole lobsters. There are even fried options available. Prices are reasonable, so you won’t feel like you’re being overcharged. On Father’s Day weekend, they offered only a 1.5 lb lobster a la carte, which typically isn't the case, according to our server. **Ambiance:** The atmosphere is lively and bustling, but it can feel quite loud and crowded. The tables are very close together, making it a bit uncomfortable as you feel crammed in with others. **Parking:** Valet parking is available, and tipping is recommended. **Reservations:** We made a reservation and arrived early, yet we still had to wait nearly 40 minutes past our reservation time before being seated. Fortunately, you can order drinks from the sushi room while you wait. Overall, it’s definitely worth a visit. The menu is diverse, and the service is excellent. However, I was taken aback by some of the attire people chose to wear. It was quite shocking and, at times, inappropriate. I did inquire about a dress code and was informed that there is one in place, but it seems more for show than actual enforcement.

I've been coming here since the opened over 30 years ago and every time I go it's still one of the best fish restaurants in the ATL! Recently went and had the fried lobster tail, tuna filet and tuna roll as an app. All 3 dishes were fresh, check out thatcolor of the tuna roll, and cooked perfectly with amazing flavors! I like to sit at the bar when I eat, better quicker service. The overall atmosphere is wide open spaces, clean and inviting. I love the classic look. If you go during prime time highlyrecommend reservations as this place gets packed. Plenty of parking and there is valet service. Would I go here again? Beendoing that for over 30 years!

The Fish Market is iconic for Atlanta and synonymous with ambience, seafood, and quality. On my visit, they did not disappoint for the anniversary dinner. The food was excellent, seasoned well, our waiter was attentive, made great suggestions and honestthoughts on dishes. We had a great time, and definitely would visit again.
