Amara - Atlanta

I was surprised to learn that Amara has been in Inman Park for a few years. I can't believe we've never tried. The food was fantastic! We're dining back there.

This restaurant is a wonderful addition to the Inman Park neighborhood. It is in a great location and offers modern, clean, and great service. The food was delicious, with a variety of options for everyone to enjoy. The cheese naan and stuffed paneer were particularly delicious. We shared the butter chicken and chicken curry, both of which were heavenly. The portions were generous, and we had leftovers to enjoy for dinner the next evening. The service was friendly, and we even received a free dessert to try, which was also great.

This was my third time at Amara, and as with the previous 2 times, I really enjoyed my meal, as did my fiancé. We went for dinner on a Saturday night around 9pm, and the restaurant was emptier than I would have expected, but that made it nice and quiet. I got the vindaloo dish, and he got chicken 65. My only issue with my food was that it was spicyyyy. But this wasn't their fault because I told the waiter I wanted my dish to be spicy lol. So next time I'll probably get mild or medium spicy. But we both enjoyed our meals. Service was fast enough and good. Only other thing was that I felt like the dinner prices were way overpriced for the portion you get. For better value, go during lunch. Prices are lower, and portions are more generous. Overall, enjoyed it!
