This is good place new manager and new menu is has good food like burger seafood and beer and wine

My wife and I had lunch there today. Firstly the service was great our waitress had a great smile and very helpful. I had Fish and chips fresh cod with home made chips delicious my wife had pasta she really enjoyed it. The chef came out of the kitchen to make sure all his customers were satisfied. As I come to find out he is owner also . Very clean and tidy I will definitely be back. Great job.

Greeted by a friendly girl. Menu was great,good choice and Kiddies menu meals €5.95. I had mushroom carbonara (no bacon no chicken) served with garlic bread. Others had chicken gougons chips and salad. The menu has lasagna,curry,fish and chips, stir-frys,burgers,salads,sandwiches,wraps,soups etc Something for everyone. So three mains two cokes one hot chocolate and one tea served with biscuits was €44.95. Everything was lovely . If I had one piece of advice it would be that it is difficult to get good chips in many restaurants so I would make my own if that were possible for you,if not and you buy in chips choose the better quality thicker chips. Great to see lots of happy customers there today both inside and outside. Good to hear under new owner and there will be a name change. Best of luck ongoing and we will be back soon. Ty

We called in on a Friday evening , we were on a quick overnight stop in the town and came across the restaurant coming down the hill past the castle . It was very quiet , and we got seated straight away , the waitress was so friendly and our food was delicious , we had breaded chicken with mushroom sauce and tagliatelle . It was so tasty, the double chocolate brownie was also delicious . We really enjoyed our drinks and food and we would definitely be back next time we are in Athlone.

We visited my melody restaurants yesterday it’s chowder was lovely and fish and chips was great taste love this place height recommend it’s nicely sitting outside and amazing inside well decorated
