Y'all, this place rocks! The empanadas had the lightest, most crispy crust ever and it was made even better by the sauce they brought to our table in what looked like a generic, red ketchup bottle. They even had the nonalcoholic sangria drinks in glass bottles! I'm in heaven.

Authentic Mexican food just for starters . We tried tacos , caldo de gallina and the bomb dot com quesadillas and lastly we devoured tamales verdes. This is a hidden gem in Athens . Super nice family run restaurant serving authentic tasting Mexican and Salvadorian food. Very humble, no glitz or shinning lights. Scored a 96 point rating on the latest health food inspection. Economically priced and tastefully prepared food. Run by humble people chasing the American dream. You can eat inside or outside. Centrally located at 910 Jefferson Street, Athens, AL 35611. Handicapped accessible. Seriously worth checking out, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
