Bidrage med feedbackI experienced food poisoning after dining here. The service was also lacking; they repeatedly attempted to omit items from our orders, which felt like a scam. I had to ask three times before receiving the complete order, and either the server got frustrated and served us subpar food, or the food here is generally of poor quality and could make you ill. As someone who is Korean and accustomed to KBBQ restaurants, I believe the soup is what caused my food poisoning. Overall, I would recommend avoiding this place, as it gave off a suspicious vibe with their continual efforts to shortchange us on what we paid for.
This restaurant is one of our favorites. We've enjoyed it since we moved to Athens, but it became a true blessing when my husband was diagnosed with Celiac disease. It’s so easy for him to eat safely there that we don’t even have to give it much thought. Plus, he can easily share dishes with the table. The service is always excellent too! Overall, it’s a pleasant experience.
Our waitress, Bianca, was absolutely fantastic and handled all our allergy questions with ease. When we return (and we definitely will), we will be sure to request her service again. The ginger dressing that accompanied the salad was a delightful surprise, making it a must-try even for those who aren’t usually salad fans. It was refreshing and a great start to our meal. We also ordered a gluten-free version of the stuffed mushrooms, which were divine. For our main course, we tried Combo #1, featuring chicken, bulgogi, and pork belly, and opted for the $1 upgrade to spicy chicken. We chose vegetables with squash as our side instead of the other option. Everything was cooked perfectly, and I appreciated that the chicken was fully cooked in the kitchen before being placed on the grill to get crispy and delicious. Bianca cooked our food right at the table and kept us updated on when everything was ready to eat. My only tip is to avoid taking food directly from the grill to your mouth, as it can be quite hot! Instead, grab the food from the grill and allow it to cool on your plate for a moment to prevent burns. Alternatively, you could endure a few minor tongue burns for the sake of enjoying the delicious food more quickly! The choice is yours.
Went here for a birthday party for some friends. Had a blueberry mojito since it was a hot day and I would be in front of a hot kbbq station. I get that sugar is addicting, so it will sell better, but it's entirely too sweet. I think if you served this inHavana you would not make it off the island. Other than that, everything else was pretty good.
Insider tip: Be sure to try the Berry Green Tea Mousse Cake. I can't stop thinking about it!
