Donna Chang's - Athens

The appetizers impressed me the most! The miso soup was a surprising twist on an old classic, with amazing flavor and plenty of cubes—not your typical mix. The smashed cucumbers were incredibly refreshing and something I couldn't get enough of! However, I had some trouble with the shrimp egg rolls; the dipping sauce had a relish-like consistency that made it hard to apply. I'm not a fan of spicy flavors, so the spicy crab didn't appeal to me, and I found it difficult to detect much shrimp in the rolls, making me unsure how small the pieces were. I was also torn between trying the dry frozen eggplant, tofu, or mu shu. I found the caramelized outer layer of the tofu quite unremarkable. As much as I try to give dishes a second chance, the taste just didn't sit well with me. Normally, I love exploring new foods and I'm open-minded about my tastes, so it's rare for me to find something I can't enjoy. I’m still not sure where the disconnect lies with the food. That said, I would definitely return for the inviting atmosphere and the AMAZING appetizers, but I might also consider trying out another place next time.

Fantastic cocktails. beautiful presentation. eating is done, but they say that. two small plates, a large plate and 3 delicious drinks for 65 dollars. great price for the obviously very fresh and delicious ingredients.

The first time here and we will definitely come back! beautiful atmosphere and service that eat is great! all we tried was very well presented and tasty, all the way into the desert! music was loud enough for them to make a conversation with not problem, it was a bit crowded when we are there, but that's good!

The food and service are outstanding. We've dined here several times for dinner and have always had a great experience. The cocktail menu is also intriguing and innovative. I have been, and will definitely continue to visit them again and again!

Amazing small plates with bright flavors. Kale and Brussels were delicious, as we're the won tons. Great service. Fun ambiance.
