Bidrage med feedbackThe sweet little diner from the beaten path, serves breakfast and lunch. Today I had the Taco salad and it was really good. The meat was tasteful and was served over round corn chips with your choice of toppings. The staff is super friendly and we enjoyed the lunch experience.
As long as you realize that you are going to a country diner, this place is great. Prices are exceptionally low. Formal health food options simply do not exist. It is possible to eat healthy, but you must stay away from cookies, gravy, bacon and sausage. This is a cozy restaurant.
Our first time to eat here. I had the western omelet, which was amazing. The kids had the biggest piece of fried bologna I've seen in years. My wife said her fried egg was cooked to perfection. She also said the country ham is how she used to get it as a kid. We are new to the area, but you better believe we'll make become regulars at Camellia's.
Country house cooking at very affordable prices. Very hearty portions size Bacon Cheeseburger... the burger was slightly thin, but the taste was on point! The best burger I found in Athens. I wanted them to be open to dinner, but then I'd probably go broke.
If you're looking for authentic southern food this is the place. The restaurant is located in an old gas station which adds to the charm. The potato salad was my favorite but the pulled pork sandwich with beans on the side was excellent. Camellia herself comes out to check on the patrons which is a touch of southern people would expect! Will absolutely return (with a bigger waistline)
