I don't want to miss this on the trip.
Very nice and tourist friendly place. cheap and great food! it is a small restaurant, but I would still highly recommend. this restaurant has delicious homemade meals that often change. I ordered chicken soup and tried the okras of my friend (lady finger) plate. the okras were so good that I had to dedicate an okra plate for me (plate of okras was 5 euro and the chicken soup was 6.5 euro). the hostes were even nice enough to recommend to me and my friends many places to visit in ate. in total we all (party of four) really enjoyed our meals in this restaurant.
Must eat here! All the reviews are spot on. Small, hole-in-the-wall restaurant with seating for maybe 10 inside. Owners greeted us and speak great English. As suggested by others, we asked for a mixed plate and got to try at least 7 different dishes plus fries, bread and homemade tzatziki. It was more than enough food for 2 adults and a child. Everything was delicious and clearly authentic. Michael, the owner, was so sweet and welcoming. We cant wait to visit again!
Mom and pop shop at its best. You feel like you went to your grandmothers for lunch. So cool. So nice. Will come back again if we are in Athens :
This place is amazing and don’t miss it if you’re around Acropolis. It’s a tiny little hole in the wall and easy to miss unless you’re looking for it. The owner is super-friendly and prepares 3 or 4 dishes of the day. We had Greek salad, Moussaka, Pork in lemon sauce with potatoes and Youvetsi. The food is exceptional and we really enjoyed the atmosphere there. Not a tourist in sight and a couple of locals came in to enjoy drinks with the owner. Very cosy and eccentric!
