Ordered kofta, got bones in my teller. fish was tasteless (except tomaten.) felafel and hummus were in order, but they are pretty hard to screw.

Very good Egyptian cuisine with grilled very good cut and hot meat on the stove on the table, delicious vegetables. Not very natural. very good cabernet sauvignon of Alexandria: “the marquis”. excellent service

Egyptian food, nice service. something too much smoke in the inner too time from the fish dishes brought tableside.

We were staying at the Old Cataract hotel and this was definitely the best food we had there! The atmosphere is lovely, right on the river and though it doesn't have the WOW factor of the 1902 Restaurant, the food here was much better for less money. Service is also fantastic. Unique culinary experience with musical background from a Nubian band. Everything is magical: the food, the friendly and smiling staff, not to mention the place itself, facing the Nile in this legendary palace. Special thanks to Myriam for her warm welcome.
