The service here is exceptionally friendly, and the portion sizes of the delicious food are truly astounding!

While there is a little bit of a wait, the food is WELL worth it. The pickles on the shrimp po boy are bright and a total highlight. The fried chicken on the stacked Mac and cheese is crazy good. The proprietor, in my opinion, could raise his prices 20% and still offer a great value.I may start looking for real estate nearby!

All the rumors are true! You are not gonna believe this place. The person who runs it is so cool and kind, and super chill. Had the chicken and waffle sandwich, hush puppies, and shrimp and grits. Everything here is amazing, and the portions are positively enormous, so you will have leftovers. The fries are crisp and delicious, The waffle sandwich is out of this world, and the order of hush puppies.... Unreal! My partner actually started calling them hush wolves. They're enormous and delicious. Worth all of the calories. Can't wait to come back for the stacked mac and cheese.

This restaurant is one of my all-time favorites in Astoria. The food is absolutely amazing, and it's great value for your money. The staff serve the food quickly and with a smile, showing genuine care and intention in their work. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area! My go-to dish is the stacked mac, which is cajun-seasoned mac and cheese topped with a crispy chicken breast—it's honestly one of the best things I've ever tasted. If I'm in the mood for a treat, the apple hush puppies are incredibly delicious and HUGE, paired perfectly with the outstanding whipped butter. I truly believe that this is the best po’boy I have ever tasted. Everything was perfect, from the bread to the shrimp, along with the pickles and aioli. The fries were also absolutely delicious!
