The service was excellent despite being short-staffed. The clam chowder was creamy, packed with clams, and had just the right amount of potatoes. The halibut fish and chips were outstanding; I had no complaints at all. I will definitely return whenever I'm in the area. After The Ship Inn closed, I didn't think I would find a suitable replacement, but this place has become my go-to spot. It has a food truck vibe with covered seating inside a greenhouse-style building, although there is very limited seating available, and part of the floor is gravel. My only concern is that elderly patrons might have difficulty navigating the seating area.

This is such a charming and quirky place! I highly recommend the halibut. Although the prices seemed somewhat higher than I expected, it's definitely worth it. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean. You can also browse the art pieces and knick-knacks on display, as everything is for sale, which makes for a nice distraction while waiting for your food.

My wife declared it the best fish and chips we've ever had, and we've tried many places. We ordered the full plate (three generous pieces) of halibut for $22.00 and shared it. The fries were outstanding—perfectly double-fried and lightly seasoned. The halibut was cooked just right, neither dry nor greasy. It did take about 20 minutes for our order to arrive, but it was well worth the wait. The restaurant has a wonderfully eclectic atmosphere as well.

The restaurant has a fantastic, quintessential ambiance, surrounded by hundreds of handmade local knickknacks available for purchase, all competing for attention. It’s operated out of a truck, yet the experience feels like that of a full-service restaurant with excellent service provided by friendly staff. The food is amazing and showcases local flavors, with the fish dishes being particularly delightful. This place is definitely a must-visit!

This restaurant came highly recommended by our relatives, and they were spot on! The food is fantastic! The clam chowder sells out quickly, so it's best to arrive early. We enjoyed some incredible cod fish and chips, and even the coleslaw was excellent. We also tried the prawn Caesar salad, where the prawns are butterflied and fried, making them enormous! This is, without a doubt, the best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time!
