Don Pollo A La Brasa - Astoria

I am Peruvian and I tried the tallarín verde with huancaina sauce, and it was delicious and flavorful! I will definitely be ordering it again.

The food was fresh, as if it were cooked right in the kitchen. I highly recommend the Pescado a lo Macho, it was delicious!

I ordered a rare steak but was served a well-done steak instead at the restaurant.

Don Pollo is my Togo restaurant for chicken and Peruvian food, unfortunately, the anticuchos were not good. The seasoning had too much vinegar, and it was not cooked on the grilled. I expected half of a choclo but I got some choclo kernels. Costumer service is great though.

I discovered a hair in my meal, which was disappointing because I was halfway through eating. When I brought it to the waitress's attention, she seemed unfazed, as if it was a common occurrence.
