Bean's Lager - Astoria

We came here to celebrate my friend's birthday with a brunch! The food was fantastic, and the outdoor seating was cozy. Even with COVID precautions in place, social distancing and mask-wearing were being enforced, which made us feel safe. The bottomless brunch option was impressive, allowing us to choose from mimosas, peach bellinis, and Bloody Marys. I do wish there were more flavors for the bellinis, but the peach option was delicious. Compared to other brunch spots, the prices here are definitely more reasonable, and you really get your money's worth! I also appreciated the QR code they provided, which allowed us to access the menu directly from our phones. It was great not to have to touch a menu that had likely been handled by many others!

My friends and I had a fantastic time at Actoria! The food was outstanding, and the happy hour deals were incredible. We had a wonderful evening out, and it was very budget-friendly. We'll definitely return!

I had a wonderful experience on Valentine's Day, despite being there with my 3-year-old son and husband. The entertainment was enjoyable, and the special prix fixe Valentine's menu was great value, featuring filet mignon and a delicious four-course meal that included champagne. The wait for our food was longer than on previous visits, but our waitress was very attentive. Overall, we still had an enjoyable time.

Food was outstanding and happy they were able to accommodate 15 for brunch. Warm and inviting staff with amazing service. Each dish was tasty and well executed. My whole family and kids enjoyed our meals! Thanks for making my wife’s bday brunch that much more special!

Our visits to this restaurant were rather a mixed bag. We ate here two nights in a row as it was a convenient location. The first night, the food was decent and the service was great, so we generally enjoyed our visit there. The second night did not go so well, as the food wasn't as good, the service didn't seem to care much, and one person in our group may have become ill from chicken that wasn't prepared properly. I want to like the place and I think it has a lot of potential to be better, but they need to improve their quality and consistency before I'd recommend going back.
