Basil Brick Oven Pizza - Astoria

I celebrated my boyfriend's birthday at this restaurant with great friends, and the food was amazing. It did not disappoint.

I've ordered pizza from here a couple of times and its been top-notch. Yet another reason why Astoria is a great place to live!

I don't even know where to begin... The service was excellent. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and layout inside the restaurant. The music they played was fantastic, with lots of jazzy covers of popular pop/rock songs. We left feeling both full and satisfied. The Calamari appetizer was delicious. For our main course, we had Carbonara and Special pies, both of which were enjoyable. Every bite was delicious, and the cannoli and lemon tart provided a perfect ending to a delightful meal. This was our first visit to Basil, but it will definitely become a regular spot for us and our friends.

Service was great. Food was delicious. Pesto gnocchi exceeded my expectation and the pizza texture was fantastic.
