First, the bad news: the fries and onion rings were so soft that they clearly weren't fried at the right temperature. They just didn't look appealing at all. As for the wings, they were overcooked, and when we requested the sauce on the side, they resembled a sad mess. Now, for the good news: despite the poor cooking, we actually enjoyed the flavor of everything. We were surprised by that. However, would we return hoping for a better experience? Not quite. Once was okay, but twice? Not likely. If you don't mind indulging in sweet and greasy bar food that tastes pretty decent, this might be the place for you. I have to give some credit to the kitchen staff; maybe the cook was having an off day or doesn't quite know how to do things right yet. Whatever the reason, I hope that if we decide to try again, things will improve. There was definitely potential that wasn't fully realized during our visit.

We rode our bikes on the Mesabi Trail and stopped here. The service was excellent, and the Patty Melt was delicious. There are very few places to choose from on this segment of the trail, so be sure to make a stop!

The wings, burgers, and drinks are the best in the city. The service is friendly, too!
