Stone Ridge Coffee - Ashland

I'm leaning towards giving this place 3.5 stars, but I'll be generous and round up. They offer a wide selection of beers which is great. I enjoyed the beer I had, even though I can't remember which one I ordered. What's important is that they have a variety of styles, including ciders. However, they don't have any domestic beers. The wings were mediocre and too saucy, but the pizza was actually really good. They were accommodating in modifying the pizza to our needs, which was great for our daughter. The restaurant has a nice large space with both indoor and outdoor seating. It has an informal atmosphere and is kid-friendly, although they don't have high chairs. The service seemed a bit understaffed, but it didn't affect our wait time as much as we expected.

After finishing our classes, my friend Sarah and I decided to celebrate. Sarah was keen to watch the women's soccer game, which was being shown at GGs. Conveniently, GGs was within walking distance of where I was staying. The restaurant boasts a lovely dog-friendly patio, and I was grateful to the patrons next to us for allowing me to pet their canine companion as I was feeling a bit deprived of doggy love. I opted for a delicious barbeque chicken pizza, which was very enjoyable. I also tried two of their ciders - POG and All the Berries - both of which were very refreshing. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Inside, the air conditioning provided a cool retreat from the heat of the sun beating down on us outside. I did sneak inside for a little while to avoid the sun shining directly on the back of my head - a bit of a funny situation!

The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere, with excellent service and delicious food. I thoroughly enjoyed the pizza and chicken ranch sandwich.

Despite having a large beer selection, there's less unique or rare finds. You'll get some regional beers but more like flagship offerings, such as caldera amber or deschutes Black Butte Porter. The food was pretty good but multiple members of our party were sick afterwards. Service is always spotty. I want to like this place but it often fails to deliver.

Love the huge number of taps. Food is pretty good. Lots of outdoor seating. Growler fills are a must!
