Masala - Ashland

There are some Indian restaurants in our area and although their food is good, their bright pink and orange decor create a non-relaxing atmosphere and the service is always lacking. So much so that my husband and I don’t try to return. We made a reservation and got a nice spot by the window. The decor was tasteful and really matched the welcoming vibe. The staff was phenomenal. They were attentive, made great recommendations and very friendly kind. I am so excited to have a favorite Indian food restaurant. Without a doubt we will be returning and will recommend to anyone looking for an Indian restaurant!Vegetarian options: I had the Aloo Mutter Gobi. It is a vegan dish. I am not vegan/vegetarian but I do like trying restaurant’s vegan/vegetarian options. It was delicious. They gave me a side of a cilantro sauce which really lightened it up and took it to the next level.

Nice and cute vibes in the restaurant, and amazing food! The wait staff were all very nice too. I recommend the shrimp malai curry : and the chai of course!Vegetarian options: I saw a few vegetarian options on the menu~ I did not order them myself, though they looked good.Wheelchair accessibility: There are a couple tables outside, there are no stairs to get in either so wheelchairs should be okay.

Outstanding!! I was blown away by my meal and that doesn't happen very often. Perfect seasoning! Nice beer selection on tap. Friendly service. Masala does Indian superbly. Will definitely be back.

It's good, consistent Indian food. I'm less impressed by the music selection in this otherwise quaint establishment dorned with wall art representing it's food origins. I am also underwhelmed by the wait I am having for a $100 take-out order. I was greeted well, and given a water while I wait, but due to the lack of wait staff (I assume) I have waited for 15 minutes for my food without approach as to if I'd like anything else. Nevertheless, the food is why I am here; therefore it gets 4.
