Country Pride - Ashland

I just had an incredible dinner here. We ordered the surf and turf, and everything was cooked to perfection. The salad was fresh and crisp, and the soup was fantastic. Our waitress was friendly and efficient without being intrusive. It was simply great food in a nice atmosphere.

The hotel is situated at TA Truckstop, which features three restaurants: Pizza Hut to Go, Popeye's Chicken, and Country Pride. The latter is a sit-down buffet-style restaurant where you can also order from a menu. The buffet was well-stocked with a variety of meats, fish, and vegetables, and the salad bar offered fresh and plentiful options. Additionally, they had fruits and cakes available for dessert. You can choose from Pepsi products, as well as traditional coffee, hot or cold tea, or water. Surprisingly, the water tasted great—no noticeable chlorine or unpleasant flavors. Our waitress was exceptionally friendly and attentive. We had arrived early to eat, anticipating a delay due to an accident on Rt. 95, which had caused traffic to back up for miles. The waitress kindly provided directions to other customers about how to navigate local roads to access Rt. 95. We would definitely return to dine here again.

I’m giving 5 stars because the service was outstanding. Our waitress, Robin, was incredibly friendly and created a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The food was also delicious.

Food and service was excellent! You get an ugly part of food for a good price. Coffee was good and a lot. Shown is the Long Haul breakfast and the California Omelette.

I had a great experience at this Country Pride. They went outside the menu to prepare a favorite comfort food combo for me after a dismal day of driving through the rain. Thanks!
