The Queens Head - Ashford

Ate here last Friday with a party of 4 for a friend's birthday! We were all highly impressed with both the food and the service! I had the steak and ale pie followed by the sticky toffee pudding and it was absolutely beautiful! Also sampled some of the partner's shepherd's pie and that was absolutely divine! Service was prompt and the waiting staff were all very polite and knowledgeable. The whole party agreed that the food was amazing! We will definitely be back here again soon!

Booked a table here for 7pm yesterday and it was lovely… I ordered the gluten free fish and chips and it did not disappoint the fish was very moist and the gluten free batter was one of the best I have tasted BUT the tartare sauce was amazing

We enjoyed a wonderful Sunday roast here yesterday. Good helpings of tender meat with Yorkshire pudding and a wide selection of vegetables with cauliflower cheese on the side. All cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and attentive and to round it off we were treated to 2 hours of live music from a talented local musician. Thanks for a lovely afternoon. We'll be back!

Best pub roast lunch out in a long time ! I went for the roast beef, and my partner and friends opted for the pork belly. Both super tasty, juicy and very generous portions ! The selection of vegetables and the cauliflower cheese went down a treat too ! Will definitely be back again very soon. The live music was also great, and the staff were super attentive and friendly !

Absolutely delicious meal Friday and today. Great moules, delicious Sunday lunches and fish and chips. My paella was better than in Spain! Friendly staff and welcoming landlord Julian. Fab singer on Sunday too, would not hesitate to recommend.
