Bidrage med feedbackWe were disappointed. determined to go the new chimneys another as it was with new management and really wanted to visit this a more regular place. we were immediately greeted with “There is a 45min waiting for food” due to 2 big parties, which at 5:45 a.m. on a Saturday is unusual for dinge, which will be so soon behind. most of the foods were delicious, but the brot came after eating suppe and a meal was incredibly poor. jäger huh. a small, dried part of the chicken, small part of the chips and no side at all. we asked if something came with him and was said no, just to read the menu again and see that it came with “clothed leaves”. Even a little green this dish would have a little upset. we asked about this and again they came to the end of the meal. the portion size was really not big enough for my father we wanted to treat. I ordered the tandoori hühnerburger and that was delicious. I had to reduce the noise level to 1, as we had a family next to us, with a shy baby that the elders tried very little to stop. not to blame them, but rather to be overwhelming and we decided to leave before dessert to save our ears. all in all disappointing, like not the way back we had hoped of this place.
Very disappointed by the food. Order a surf and turf, the menu stated it came with onion rings peas but when I questioned it when it was put on the table was told the chefs specification did not say the same thing. No offer of actually giving me what the menu stated. The steak was also cold. After complaining again was given free drinks. As we left we heard our waitress’s apologising to another table. We also had to wait over 45 mins for our food and there were only 2 other small tables in the restaurant. Sadly I will not be returning
Unfortunately that day due to staff shortages service was slow and had to wait for food quite awhile positive side food was hot and properly cooked quite disappointing as we have been there previously and it was superb on this occasion it wasn’t
Booking Terry x 2. At 7pm. Absolute worse Christmas Dinner I could ever have expected. Waitress girl was the best experience. We visited Christmas Eve as pre booked with deposit. The King Prawns starter were the Best. Good Size but Too cold from the fridge but I passed that off as being at least not left at room temperature and to go slightly off. Then the Turkey. What Turkey? I expected slices “Not Stuffing Role”. More cooked to death small Brussels Small Carrots and a Dollop of Red cabbage that graced the centre of our dining plates.. (all cheap and meant to fill our plates) No Yorkshire. Menial Roast potatoes. Pigs in blankets were too big a sausage and too salty. The Parsnips not recognisable. *I only ate the Roast Potatoes* and the waitress took away. Profiteroles Next. Presented Nice but oh SO Hard. Where they Stale? All I can say my spoon could not even cut into them! So back they went. Then the Bill.. Over Charged! I questioned but was told the bill was correct. An expensive waste of Money. *I have the photographs and Bill to prove* New Chimneys? Soon to be “Old” in the “Past” Chimneys. The Harvester Knocks Spots from them. *Disappointed Customer Beware*
My king prawn and mac cheese didn't have a single prawn in it and it was luck warm. My dinner never came with the onion rings and pea,as it said on the menu, it came with corn on the cob which was fridge cold. The steak was beautiful cooked but I had to send it back with the rest of the dinner. So I sat with my friend with no food.
