Bidrage med feedbackMy husband and I decided to give this restaurant another try yesterday, as we had visited a couple of months ago and were disappointed with the service. This time, however, we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent service we received from our waitress, Megan. She gave us her undivided attention and made sure to accommodate my food allergy. Our drinks and food were quickly brought to us and everything was hot and very tasty. The chef even changed my order to cater to my allergy. When I thanked Megan and asked for her name, she informed me that it was only her second shift. I was impressed by how well she had been trained and how quickly she had adapted to her role. We will definitely be returning as Megan is truly an asset to Pizza Express. A big thank you to all the staff for a wonderful dining experience.
My husband and I recently visited this restaurant, and it was not very busy. There were only 3 other occupied tables inside and 3 tables outside. After being seated and given menus, we waited about 15 to 20 minutes before being asked about drinks. Once we placed our orders for both drinks and food, we noticed that the restaurant quickly emptied out, leaving only 2 occupied tables, including ours. When our main course arrived, we were the only customers left in the restaurant. It took a while for our plates to be cleared, and when my husband asked for the dessert menu, there was a long wait before he could order. Despite the increasing busyness of the restaurant, there were plenty of staff available. Overall, the service was slow considering the lack of customers. We have visited this restaurant several times before and have never experienced such poor service. On a positive note, we enjoyed our meals. The pizza I ordered was the best I have ever had, it was delicious. Come on Pizza Express, you can do better.
We reserved a table for four friends at this restaurant. One person had a voucher, so we opted for the two-course option. The dough balls were a tasty starter, and the pizzas were not only enormous but also delicious! One of our group members had a gluten-free requirement, which was well catered for. However, paying with the voucher only worked for one person, so we all had to download the app. Unfortunately, the bill couldn't be amended, and the manager didn't seem to try very hard to resolve the issue. This could potentially impact other customers who may end up paying more than they anticipated.
Visited today with my wife and son for a little early lunch, the staff where fantastic, positive young front of house with a smile, food was faultless, for a chain I was very impressed, and they dealt with a troublesome (**** vile) customer calmly and smoothly, well done ladies, we will see you again soon! X
What a disgrace. Ordered 2 pizzas. The Pandana was so thin you could actually see through it!! I think they forgot to put goats cheese on it as it was just spinach and large chunky slices of red onion. Totally lost any finess and just tasted of onion and spinach. So disappointed. The margarita was just as bad being virtually see through. I have never had a pizza so so thin in my life but they have really scrimped in the toppings. It was liked they just smear the lightest touch of tomato on them and a slight sprinkle of cheese. With dough balls that were under cooked it was a total waste of nearly £35.... whilst I hate to give a bad review I felt I had to be honest. Do not do takeaway as you don’t realise there is a problem till you are home and by then you are no going back to complain. I would have complained about whole meal if I had been in restaurant. No wonder it was empty at 8.30pm on a Saturday night. Shame on you cutting corners pizza express.
