The Broomhill Inn - Ashfield

The food was okay, but the prices for drinks were outrageous. We were charged 12 pounds for two small cokes with very little liquid and a pint of San Miguel. Just be aware of the high drink prices at this restaurant.

The food at this restaurant was absolutely incredible. I ordered the chicken sharer for a starter and was pleasantly surprised by how large the portion was. It was delicious. For my main course, I had the fajitas with steak, which were also amazing. My girlfriend ordered the sausage and mash and said it was really nice too. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be returning.

This place has gone downhill. It may not have been high-end before, but it used to offer good value. Yesterday, we had to wait a long time and the food reminded us of subpar school lunches. I ordered the steak and ale pie, which was tiny and came with watery gravy and frozen peas. I won't be returning here.

Food was absolutely shocking spent over £50 and not even half of food was eaten. Ordered a double cheeseburger it and it was burnt didn’t even eat any of it as it wasn’t edible. Ordered a mix grill the sausages were burnt and the CHICKEN WAS STILL PINK. Ordered a medium steak with Wexford sauce it came out burnt to a crisp I couldn’t even eat it and my sauce came out freezing cold. Ordered halloumi fries and they was rock solid. Definitely not eating here again. A waste of money.

The heel of my trainers would of been easier to eat than the steak I got served complained they swapped it but came out over cooked and fatty and full of grissle never going there again
