Homegrown - Asheville

Five of us arrived around 4:30 PM, and there weren't many people there. The service was excellent, and the food was outstanding. The Pimpin chicken sandwich was fantastic, and the trout with sesame kale was exceptional. My kid ordered the grilled cheese and finished it all (which is rare!). We will definitely be coming back.

Regarding cleanliness, do be prepared for some shortcomings. Since we had our dog with us, we were seated on the patio, which had no breeze or fans and overlooked the busy Merrimon Avenue. We had to clear away dirty dishes left by the previous guests before we could sit down, and we also needed to wipe off debris from the chairs.
