Fairview Tavern - Asheville

One of the best bars on the east side of town, with really tasty bar food, great drink prices, 6 dart boards, 3 pool tables, outdoor patio and front porch. The staff are all really great and the management. Kind of off the main road but once you find it, you'll be glad you did! Free pool on Sundays and Wednesdays! The kitchen sink philly cheesesteak is really good and the bacon wrapped hot ! Also the fried okra with house-made ranch dressing.

Who is the owner currently? Extremely rude bartender Tracey and heavy set lady said my friend and myself were banned and I didn't even do anything! Used to be regular customers but not now. Terrible service and piss poor attitudes from the bar tenders! So smokey that you get a migraine as soon as you walk in. Place has gone down hill!

Very good atmosphere. Super friendly staff. Amazing food and plenty of activities and variety of places to hangout inside.

Great place for us on a Sunday afternoon to bring the dog along. Burger was great. People were cool.
