Bidrage med feedbackOverall, our experience was pleasant. It was one of the few dinner options available at the Biltmore Estate. The service was commendable, and they were accommodating with special requests. While it turned out to be an English pub, the atmosphere and menu didn’t quite fit the typical “pub” vibe for us. The Scottish broth wasn’t authentic, and there were only two other items on the menu that we would classify as British pub food. However, we enjoyed the dishes we ordered and savored a lovely glass of Biltmore wine.
The table was ready when we arrived at the reservation. we were a party of four adult. we sat next to a large table with several small children who often walk during the meal. Noise level was excessive. the service was very slow. had to be asked to stir hot drinks. we were questioned by the waiter why we needed spoons. the journeys were lukewarm. eating was average, nothing special. price for quality and service provided.
We've been dining at Cedric's since they opened, but our last experience was the worst we've had there. The food was very disappointing and below expectations.
This is one of my favorite places to eat when we visit Biltmore, but this time was different, and we were quite disappointed. We waited 10 minutes before even being greeted, then an additional 10 minutes for our drinks, and it took over an hour before we finally received our food. It was frustrating, to say the least. However, the food was amazing as always, and we were happy once we finally got to eat. Still, the service definitely left much to be desired.
Had a great meal on our vacation. Crème Brûlée was Devine.
