Swan River - Ascot

It is disappointing when they find 2m from the kitchen and the waiter they find their table to deliver their meal. we ended up with a cold, greasy, gum-like meal after we chased it up. we also have to hear the others complaining so close to the kitchen. beautiful, but that was it.

Double booked every table in the restaurant and waited half an hour to take place, although we booked four weeks in advance. no apologies received and would have gone for another restaurant if they did not take their money when entering.

We were thrilled to try out the advertised buffet breakfast weekend special at $15 today. location is great, with views of the water and a good selection of dressed on the buffet. the fried eggs were however steinkälte and the rest was warm. I was disgusted in the dirty plates and coffee cups. the dishwasher does not work properly. as bad as this previously known device (ascot inn) was a symbol. a quantity of improvements necessary to guarantee a return visit.

We went here due to getting a groupon deal for the restaurant that seemed too good to be true $75 two courses and wine for four people)..and sadly it was. The decor is trying very hard to be glitzy but sadly falls short. It seemed more effort was put into this then training the staff. Whilst all staff were very friendly, some small touches would have improved the experience such as pouring the first glass of water and giving us wine glasses that had been dried after coming out of the washer. My partner and I had a late lunch here a couple of weeks ago on a scoopon and thought it was great so we went back for dinner last night with my parents and once again enjoyed it thoroughly. Couldn't fault the service or the food. The wait staff were all super attentive and helpful and the food plentiful and delicious! We had pork belly, calamari, dips Turkish bread and bruschetta entree, all fantastic! Chicken parmigiana, steak sandwich, nachos and chicken pizza for mains. The chicken pizza wasn't the best, the base was quite soggy due to too much sauce, but still tasty. Will definitely return and continue to recommend
