The Diner At Asbury Lanes - Asbury Park

Delicious food and excellent wait staff! We will absolutely be back.

We had confirmed reservations at The Diner At the Asbury Lane’s and then checked their events page for something (unrelated) and saw that it was closed for a private party. We tried calling and no one picked up the phone, we tried instagram and no on answered, and then we tried calling the hotel where we waited on hold for 45 minutes to be told they have no idea. We never ended up going so I 'm not sure if their website was wrong or their reservation system but the management over there seems to be a bit of a mess. I hope they get it together because we were really looking forward to trying it.

Cozy little spot. There aren't many tables or items on the menu, but it was just right for us since we attended a show nearby. Our waitress was lovely, but she was the only one working, which made the service take a very long time. I felt a bit awkward as she managed all the tables and counters on her own. Once our food finally arrived, it was delicious and well-presented. I'd definitely go back again.

We arrived at the Diner in Asbury Lanes 10 minutes early for our reservation for five, but they wanted to split our table because they claimed they didn't have enough space for us, even though we had a reservation.

Everything was absolutely delicious, and the decor was a lot of fun! It's definitely a hidden gem!
