Upon arrival we were met with a smile from the hostess and taken to a beautiful table overlooking the heart of Asbury Park. Our server Alex greeted us with a warm welcome and an offer of drinks, yes please! My husband ordered a pitcher of **** Mary’s and I’m so happy he was in the mood to drink! Yummy!! The pickled veggies in our glass would have made us happy but the **** Mary itself just added to our happiness! We of course went on to try the Gin and cucumber mint tonic and pornstar martini, our tastebuds didn’t know we were missing out on so much! Definitely recommend the gin and cucumber mint for a refresher on the beach! I’ll be stealing it for a girls trip option! Okay yes the drinks were amazing but then let’s go to the food! The Scottish egg is the way to start a Sunday brunch meal, cooked perfectly! Then we both decided on the same entree BEC carbonara with sausage meatballs, if I could say anything to convince you it would be, you’ll want this to be your last meal! Bravo chef!! Absolutely delicious!! I’m not sure how we did it but, we got the flourless chocolate cake, it was good but I was stuffed so not sure I got to experience it considering I couldn’t handle another bite! Ohhh shucks I guess an another visit is in the near future to try it again! Definitely impressed with everything this restaurant has to offer!
Way overpriced for what it is. $15 for a glass of wine? These weren’t even premium wines either. The one I had sells for $15 a bottle. You can get the chicken tikka massala, which I had, cheaper and better at ANY Indian restaurant. Noise level was uncomfortable. This was one of the most expensive meals I’ve ever paid for and everything was average to below average, except our server. Definitely won’t be returning.
Nice place. Decor is very pretty food was very good. Had a singer Thursday night when we went… will return
Had an excellent meal with friends, best happy hour in town and dinner specials were delicious! Thanks Chef Avery! If you haven’t been here you should try it!
