Goombas Pizza Grinder - Arvada

Decent pizza, not my favorite but good. The sauce is of good quality, toppings were as well. However, I think the most important aspect of a pizza or sandwich is the bread. Personally, I prefer thinner crust, a little less chewy than this dough. The cheese bread wasn't very cheesy.

Best pizza in Arvada by a large margin. Good ingredients, real spice. Way better than those cookie cutter franchises all over the place in every strip mall.

We past by the place 100 times and this time we decided to stop and try it out. We ordered the Game Over Pizza and the California Grinder. The staff was amazing and it being our first time, they were very patient with all of questions we threw at them. The cook even made a point of introducing himself and welcoming us (My wife remembered his name as Nikko). Truly incredible to have that kind of service now-a-days. The place was full and there were many people ordering and they still were incredibly accommodating with our indecision of what to order. The pizza was definitely one of the best pizzas we have had since moving here from NJ. Thank God, we found this place. It was perfectly cooked and the toppings were yummy. My wife ordered the California Grinder and she absolutely loved, loved, loved it! For the last 15 years of being married to her, I've never seen her finish anything thing. She ate half and push the rest aside, as if it was too much food for her. About 5 minutes later, she demolished the rest of it. Goombas, you have a regular customer. Keep doing what you guys are doing, You rock!!!

It used to be my favorite. The last 3 orders have been wrong. The gluten-free crust used to be so good now is the worst I've had. I'm so sad it's changed like this. It was my favorite place.
