Bidrage med feedbackSuch a wonderful surprise. we had not booked, but they were in the position, we were in a beautiful table at the top window on the first stage. stunning teepot and porcellan. such a simple tea service but served with such carefree to make them feel special. 10/10 would recommend
A place to relax The front looks small but goes back a long way and there's an upstairs too. Plenty of comfortable seating. Dog friendly and water bowl by door. Tea/coffee and food all good
Wonderful old tearoom. Real china cups and saucers. The afternoon tea was to die for. They were very accommodating when I was finding it hard to book so do message. Think the booking system needs rethinking. You have to book for afternoon tea but other things you can drop in for. Always pretty busy though
The Sussex Rarebit is excellent. A wonderful selection of cakes available. Loved the Victoria sponge with real cream. A busy place but the staff are very efficient and really nice. Our little dog was made very welcome. This lovely venue is well worth a visit. We will definitely be back. Thanks for the wonderful lunch and warm hospitality.
On a Sunny bank holiday, me and my good friend Josh decided to pop into these tea rooms for a bite to eat. On arriving, we were delighted to discover they offered a quiche of the day. As members of the culinary institute of fine quiche, we are more than well versed in good pastry. However, nothing could have prepared us for the delight we were about to enjoy. The selected form was Roasted Mediterranean a classic item, and one we are more than familiar with. The quiche was succulent, multi layered, and the ingredient selection was divine. Never before has such a standard issue quiche felt so outstanding and inspired. We will return again, particularly to sample the quiche Lorraine. Surely this must be one of the finest quiche institutes in the U.K. as a personal friend to the chair for the quiche institute, I shall be urging him to consider a group outing to Arundel to experience what we stumbled into.
